High-Speed Fiber for Water Valley Homes and Businesses

Water Valley is a strong, close-knit, and vibrant community, focused on continued growth while maintaining its small-town charm. As an entity born from your local electric cooperative, TVIfiber shares these same values. We are excited to partner with Water Valley to support your growth goals.

Robison emphasized the deep relationship: “TVEPA has always appreciated our important relationship with Water Valley of ‘neighbors helping neighbors.’ This guidance has brought us here. We are excited to unite our communities with even stronger connections and a brighter, more connected future.”

Mayor Tommy Reynolds has been a driving force behind this initiative. He strongly advocated for the implementation of fiber technology in the city.

“I am very pleased that TVIfiber is willing to give every homeowner and business in the Water Valley Electric service area the opportunity to receive high-speed, broadband, fiber internet,” said Mayor Reynolds. “It is important that every person in our service area can enjoy the same benefits and quality of service that others in our county currently receive. This is a tremendous benefit to our area.”

Next Steps: Design, Engineering, and Construction

TVIfiber has begun the crucial design and engineering fieldwork phase of the project in Water Valley.

This phase includes:

  • Further analyzing existing infrastructure to ensure it is ready to support the new fiber deployment.
  • Thoroughly inspecting each utility pole for necessary upgrades.
  • Submitting detailed applications outlining upgrades to safely attach the new fiber lines.

Once the city approves the plan and licenses are issued, construction will begin to bring reliable fiber internet to Water Valley.
