WATER VALLEY, Miss. — On May 1, TVIfiber officially began mainline construction to deliver much-needed broadband internet and telephone services to the unserved and underserved neighborhoods of the City of Water Valley. This milestone marks a major step toward TVIfiber closing the digital divide that has left Water Valley residents and businesses struggling with limited connectivity.

To date, the engineering plans are 60% complete. Crews are performing make-ready pole change-outs with construction continuing as weather permits over the coming months. There have been three poles changed out with another 20 being addressed now. We are anticipating areas in the northwestern territory to be ready for service activations in the coming weeks..
