About TVIfiber
- What is TVIfiber?
TVIfiber is a solely owned subsidiary of Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association that provides high-speed, broadband internet and telephone services. - Why is TVEPA doing internet and telephone?
The TVEPA service territory and surrounding communities have limited or no access to high-speed internet. The decision was made to improve the quality of life by providing high speed, fiber internet and telephone services just as the TVEPA founders did with electricity in 1939. - Who is eligible for TVIfiber?
All TVEPA Members have access to TVIfiber’s high-speed internet and telephone services. TVIfiber has plans to expand coverage to nearby communities. - When and where will TVIfiber be available?
The entire TVEPA service territory has TVIfiber services available. TVIfiber is currently building service to the City of Water Valley Electric Department's service area. - Will it affect my electric bill?
No. TVIfiber internet and telephone services will be billed separately from TVEPA electric services.
Internet
- What is fiber and what’s so special about it?
Fiber internet uses strands of glass to transmit data as light, delivering faster speeds and more reliable connections than traditional internet options like DSL, cable, or satellite. Unlike those dated technologies, fiber isn't affected by weather or shared bandwidth, so you get consistent performance - even during peak hours. - Are there data caps?
No. All internet packages are unlimited. - Will there be email accounts with TVIfiber?
TVIfiber will not provide email services. - Will there be a charge for equipment?
No. There will not be a charge for the initial ONT and router equipment that is required for service.
Telephone
- Benefits of VOIP telephone service from TVIfiber
Since our Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telephone service is through our fiber network, it provides crystal-clear communication. The telephone service is provided at competitive rates. Unlike many other telephone providers, we will not charge any fees that aren’t mandated. - Can I keep my telephone number?
Yes. Under most circumstances, you will be able to keep your current telephone number. - Can I have multiple lines?
Yes. Business services have additional line capabilities. - Will there be a charge for equipment?
No. There will not be a charge for equipment required to provide telephone service. The customer will be required to provide their own telephone. - Are calling plans unlimited?
Yes. Except for international and toll calls, all other calling plans are unlimited.
Schedule an Install
- How do I schedule an installation?
Go to www.tvifiber.com.
Click on TVEPA Membership Sign Up.
Register by inputting your service address and selecting desired internet and/or telephone services.
Create a new customer account by completing all required fields. *Valid email address is required.
Select an installation date from the calendar provided.
Verify your email from TVIfiber to secure the install date.
Installation
- How is an installation scheduled?
You may schedule your installation by going to www.tvifiber.com and following the steps to create a new account. - Do I have to be home for installation?
Yes. You or someone over the age of 18 must be present during the installation. You must also verify the location of where to install the equipment. - Will installers need access inside my home / business?
Yes. The installer will need to mount the equipment in a central location and set up the Residential Gateway. - Is there an installation fee?
No. There are no fees for installation.
Billing
- Will my bills for electric and fiber be together or separate?
Separate. The bill for TVIfiber will be combined if you have both internet and telephone. However, it will be billed separately from the electricity use from TVEPA. - When will I be billed and how can I pay?
TVIfiber internet and telephone are pay-in-advance services. Services are billed in advance and are due by the fifth (5th) of each month. You may mail your payment or come to headquarters to pay in person. Subscribers can create an online account at www.tvifiber.com, by clicking on Login/Pay Bill. Simply complete the online account process, and you will be able to pay by credit card, debit card, or e-check 24/7. Subscribers may also call 662-563-2075 and use the IVR system to make a payment at any time. - Are there service contracts?
Residential customers will not be required to sign a contract; however under most circumstances businesses will need to sign an agreement.
